Mars Venus Workshop participants thank Janice

Before becoming familiar with the Mars Venus material, I often felt anger and frustration in my relationships but couldn’t clearly communicate why. The Mars Venus material has helped me to identify what is going on inside of me and how to better communicate my needs to my partner. It has helped me to have greater understanding of my partner’s needs. It has helped me to not react as before because I know that my partner is not only different, but that he is usually coming from a place of caring. I am grateful to have such practical relationship tools that really work.

I would like to share with you my experience of having taken the Mars Venus Workshop with Janice Hoffman. It has been a very enlightening experience, which I will recommend to everybody. I learned so many important skills in relating to women. I feel, somehow, that I can now understand them, something I thought was impossible!

Going to the workshop and feeling those emotions all again made me realize that somewhere inside me is a glimmer of hope. I know it has made my husband more aware of, and correct, a lot of his negative behaviors. It has also made him so much more aware of my needs as a woman and me aware of his needs as a man.

Don and I would like to to tell you thank you for sharing John Gray’s principles from the Mars Venus Workshop and from subsequent classes we took. We have used what we have learned many, many times and highly recommend these classes to all of our friends.

Counseling sessions brought back together two wonderful people whose love is an understanding, caring and sharing one

Dear Janice and David,This is a long overdue letter. One that I have tried to write about 10 times, but never seem to finish or find the right words.

We absolutely loved your classes. As a matter of fact, they kept together two people who were unaware of the differences between men/women and relationships…let me start at the beginning.

Married 9 years to a wonderful man, two beautiful children and a great dog…what more could you ask for, right? It hit me like a lead balloon, my husband didn’t think he loved me anymore. I was beyond devastated. I really thought that nothing could go wrong with the “perfect family.” Through many a nights on a tear drenched pillow, I didn’t know what the next day would hold. There was no affair, no alcholism, no drugs, just no love.

It was the suggestion of some close friends who had taken the classes that we attend the Mars/Venus workshops to see if all the rage of John Gray would help. After our first class, we were still unsure, but really saw some insights that we hadn’t seen or known before. We continued the classes, and with each one we grew closer together, understanding each one better and knowing the differences. It was the night of the emotion letter that really capped it for us. It was almost a renewed strength.

On July 18, 1997 we celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary, one John Grey would have proud to hear about. I thought it was just going to be dinner for the two of us…little did I know that a limousine would arrive to take me anywhere I wanted…and during that limo ride my absolutely wonderful husband presented me with a beautiful anniversary ring…just when I thought he could do no more, we arrived home to 10, yes 10 dozen, red roses that he had delivered while we were out for the evening. This was a night where I truly felt like a princess, but the only thing I needed was an “I love you” and I received that priceless gift two weeks prior to our anniversary and have heard it every day from then on.

Mars/Venus workshops and attending some counseling sessions brought back together two wonderful people whose love is an understanding, caring and sharing one. We thank you for your support, your guidance and your love of keeping couples where they should be together in two separate ways.

If there is any doubt whether your should attend Mars/Venus classes, set it aside and go for it, we have recommended these classes to many couples who have benefited from them as well.
